By implementing this project, we wanted to systematically strengthen the internationalisation of the Catholic University in Ružomberok and partner universities in the target regions (Western Balkans, Eastern Neighbourhood, Southern Mediterranean), expand the mobility of students and staff (teaching, training), and create a stable framework for long-term cooperation. The aim was to increase the language, professional, and intercultural competencies of participants, transfer know-how and efficient practices to teaching and mobility administration, support the academic growth of teachers, and develop the soft skills of administrators. The intention was also to increase the international visibility and reputation of the participating institutions, build new contacts, and prepare joint initiatives (projects, seminars, conferences). In particular, we wanted to expand cooperation to include healthcare fields such as nursing, public health, and physiotherapy. An important part of the strategy was full recognition of results (ECTS), inclusive selection of participants, and consistent dissemination of results via the web, social networks, promotional videos, and events, so that the benefits of mobility could also be transferred to partners.
