The project aimed to strengthen the internationalisation of STU and partner universities through two-way student and staff mobilities, enabling knowledge transfer, access to modern research methods, and stronger links between education and practice. Cooperation with Ukrainian universities focused on materials technologies, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, and intelligent transport, aiming to create joint programmes, increase publications and grant proposals, and support students from disadvantaged backgrounds. In the Western Balkans, the emphasis was on sustainable urbanism, cultural heritage, and architecture, helping partners modernise curricula and enhance doctoral studies. In Latin America and Africa, the focus was on environmental sciences, water management, and analytical chemistry, transferring modern technologies and improving graduates’ competitiveness. In Asia, cooperation addressed digitalisation, AI, nanotechnologies, and zero-waste processes, while in Oceania it centred on 3D printing and technology transfer. Overall, the project contributed to higher education quality, joint outputs, integration of partners into the European Research Area, and systematic support for students with fewer opportunities.
