There are 4 WPs: 1: Project management; WP2: Rural Tourism Business Guide; WP3:TouRural Campaign for rural tourism awareness; and WP4: Impact dissemination and sustainability.Expected outcomes include best practices in rural tourism management and the use of project deliverables for rural development in Europe.
We applied for the project to address significant challenges faced by rural areas, including globalization, environmental issues, unemployment, and economic crises. Many farmers and SMEs are transforming their agricultural businesses into rural tourism facilities to foster resilience and create employment opportunities in regions with limited options. Our initiative aims to empower these stakeholders by enhancing their digital skills and promoting sustainable practices. Many businesses in agricultural or remote areas struggle to attract tourists and capitalize on existing flows. Thus, we are focused on developing training paths that provide the green and digital competencies necessary for success in rural tourism. "Rural Resilience and Rural Tourism Training Paths" project will establish a network connecting vocational schools, public institutions, and enterprises, ensuring equal access to tourism training. Our ultimate goal is to train a new generation of professionals who can manage rural tourism effectively, leading to increased local economic growth and youth resilience. Applying for this project allows us to collaborate at the European level, leveraging opportunities for innovation in the rural tourism sector through Erasmus +.
