The participants of the exchange were from different families, orphanages and forms of alternative care, but also from ordinary families. The place of implementation was the city of Trenčín, with the fact that we had arranged accommodation directly in the city. During the youth exchange, we tried to convey to young people a lot of information about historical periods from 1945 to the present, but also about the life of young people before and after the Gentle Revolution. In exchange, we tried to move and direct the participants in questions related to life young people before the Gentle Revolution and after the Gentle Revolution. During the implementation of the project, they were informally educated and found out information about various historical events, but also the changes that occurred due to the change of regime in both countries (socialism, communism, democracy,...), but also the changes that occurred after joining the European Union. These methods served for the participants to find out and expand information about history, historical events, political regimes, leisure and education opportunities, culture, but also other interesting topics about the life of young people before and after the Gentle Revolution. With the help of these methods, we increased and developed the participants' competencies such as: "knowledge of the life of young people before and after the Gentle Revolution, work competence, digital competence, cultural awareness and expression, learning to learn, communication in mother tongue and foreign language, social and civic competences, initiative and entrepreneurship, personal and social competences. The specificity of the group was that they had a very strongly developed emotional perception of the environment and community, as they were and are active in their environment, in which they live, but also in their vicinity are people and relatives who they went through the given periods of life before and after the Gentle Revolution. The target groups participated in various activities in their communities, where they cooperated with each other in various workshops and spent their free time actively.
