Our main goal in this project was to enable young people to develop environmental awareness by visiting the European Union through green travel opportunities, learning about different cultures, and facilitating networking between our country and others. DiscoverEU inclusion, an Erasmus+ program, enabled the discovery of Europe through educational experiences. In this context, one of the main objectives for our youth was to explore other countries and the diverse range of cities and towns, primarily through public transportation. Young people with fewer opportunities who had been unaware of these opportunities or had not accessed the Erasmus+ and DiscoverEU programs were given the chance to travel to European countries in small groups and discover Europe through DiscoverEU inclusion. The main problems we addressed in our program included the lack of knowledge regarding access to opportunities and youth participation rights among disadvantaged youth, the inability to establish international partnerships in combating the climate crisis, the limited opportunities to explore new countries, and the insufficient utilization of the Erasmus+ program to discover EU countries. We aimed to elevate and enforce youth rights to the highest possible level. As a youth organization that operates internationally, we placed great importance on cooperation activities and partnerships. Our main goals included promoting the EU Youth Strategy and ensuring youth participation within the framework of EU cooperation in youth policy for the years 2019-2027. Through our project, we supported the involvement of young people especially those with fewer opportunities in democratic life. At the same time, one of our main objectives was to promote social and civic participation and ensure that all young people had the necessary resources to engage in society.
