In the project application we defined the 3 following goals: - G1: Create a framework for long-term bilateral youth academy between EU and Non-EU countries. - G2: Increase the number of community initiatives in people with fewer opportunities of both countries. - G3: Increase the soft and business skills, especially intercultural communication and collaboration, the so-called Skills of the 21st century (critical thinking, communication, cooperation, creativity) leading to increased youth resilience.
We have seen a possibility to create a partnership with our former volunteer Martina Jachevska an her organization established in North Macedonia to create a common project that will help to build capacities and exchange knowledge and practices between both organizations. We have seen similarities in both Slovakia and North Macedonia in terms of youth work and focus of our organizations Mladiinfo and GRIT. We have seen similar youth target groups and need to develop future youth leaders and volunteers in both organizations as well as to build capacities of projects coordinators in implementing international projects for young leaders. Also the focus on community development, skills development, non-formal activities and creating small young led projects was common for both organizations.
