Since teachers are the key to digital transformation in society, teachers must first improve themselves in this field. One of the best ways to improve yourself is through trainings, courses, teacher portals, on-the-job observations, seminars, etc. to benefit from. We came to the conclusion that the first step of our school's digital transformation should be taken by our school teachers and how important it is for them to develop themselves digitally as pioneers and role models for students. After working to ensure the digital competencies of our teachers and providing them with the necessary equipment, we aimed to guide our students and guide them to ensure the digital transformation of our school in a versatile way. Our general goal in our project is to improve the digital skills of our school's students and teachers, and we have largely achieved the digital transformation of our school.
Within the scope of the project, we acted with the thought that studies should be carried out to improve the digital skills of our school teachers in the best, most efficient and sustainable way. That's why we planned to cooperate with expert, experienced and reliable institutions in their fields that will contribute to the digital competence of our teachers and enable them to use the digital skills they have acquired in the most efficient way in the classroom. Our school acts with the vision of raising effective and qualified individuals who are aware of science and technology, open to development, accept learning as a basic need, live and keep alive their values, are tolerant, accept differences as richness, have high moral values, are self-confident, participatory, self-questioning, effective and qualified. It is an institution. For this purpose, we had the opportunity to meet with digitally advanced institutions and educators in Europe and observe and experience their good practice examples on site. We adapted these practices to our own institution.
