Objectives

With this project, we aim to improve our teachers' skills in preparing lesson plans and providing training in robotic coding at international standards; To provide our students with analytical thinking and problem solving skills; We aimed to improve the language and digital skills of our teachers and students and to become a more active institution in the European Education Network. Thanks to this project, more teachers in the field of robotics will prepare lesson plans and offer robotic coding courses. became able to give. With the developing skills of our students, their motivation in the field of robotics will increase, and students who wish will be able to take robotics courses without experiencing the shortage of qualified robotics instructors. Thus, our institution has been able to use existing opportunities in the field of robotic coding. Our institution eliminates all deficiencies and problems in robotic coding training. He made a brand new start by meeting his needs. He received awards in competitions held after the project. At the same time, due to these successes, schools from abroad have come to our school to observe good practices in the field of robotics with the Erasmus project.

Background

As a result of the survey we conducted on our teachers and students, it was revealed that the most needed field is robotic coding. We have a well-equipped robotics workshop within our school, but although the number of teachers in our school was 132, the number of teachers who could teach in the field of robotics was only 3. When we looked at the teaching intensity of these teachers and the number of our students requesting robotics lessons, our school could not meet the demands. Due to our teachers' lack of skills in providing training and preparing lesson plans in the field of robotics, our robotics workshop was serving well below its potential and we could not use the existing physical infrastructure. We were lacking in developing our students' analytical thinking and problem-solving skills in this field. We implemented this project in our school to eliminate our deficiencies in the field of robotics and to initiate and maintain a robotics education process at international standards.
