Background

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) consist of 17 ambitious goals planned to be achieved by 2030, which were taken up by the UN in 2015. The UN and UNESCO define education as a vital tool in the 2030 Agenda to develop the SDGs. The awareness that educating students towards a sustainable lifestyle should be a natural and fundamental part of the school culture is our most basic need. Providing students with basic competencies and creating an independent learning environment is the focal point of our Strategic Development Plan. While providing students with information and experience about ecological daily life activities within the framework of the SDGs, we want them to increase their participation in social activities and become more responsible citizens in Europe and all over the world. Supporting and continuing the cooperation of six different EU member states with the project will contribute to the improvement of the school's EU network and the quality of education.
