By implementing our project related to STEM education, we aim to improve the quality of education in our school and encourage our students to research, think and be creative; We aimed for our students to gain practical experience and achieve outputs with innovative methodologies. Emphasizing that our students in vocational education can also become engineers, just like in Anatolian High Schools; We aimed to eliminate the prejudice that practices in the Stem field are difficult and for men. We aimed to increase the representation and recognition of our school on different platforms by ensuring that STEM applications continue in the future with the education and experiences of our school's students and teachers in the project.
MSMTAL was established in the 1931-1932 academic year as a “Construction Mastery School” on the farm land by the order of the great leader Atatürk. MSMTAL has 127 teachers and 1035 students. Our school, which provides education and training activities in vocational fields, also supports these activities with European Union Projects. Educational activities are carried out in 6 different fields in our school: Information Technologies, Electrical-Electronics Technologies, Mapping and Cadastre, Construction Technologies, Installation Technology and Air Conditioning and Motor Vehicle Technology. By emphasizing STEM education, our project aims to create a STEM perception in all our students, especially girls who are among the disadvantaged groups, and to provide them with basic competencies by improving teacher skills. This new educational approach has gained importance recently and has managed to become a part of our education strategy in our country. We aim to diversify the studies carried out in the field of STEM with environment-oriented studies by our school teachers and students, to raise awareness in our school and to support its sustainability.
