Objectives

The main goal of Sakarya University of Applied Sciences (SUBU) with this project was to strengthen its position as a globally recognized university and improve its quality of education through positive inter-institutional relations that pave the path to the exchange of valuable information and know-how. The mobility aspect of the project has provided our students and personnel with valuable cultural exchanges, knowledge, and new perspectives on life and way of work. SUBU has supported its students and personnel who were involved in mobility with the resources made available for the institution. As with prior projects our university has completed, efficient use of resources in line with the SDGs set by the European Union had the utmost importance. SUBU aimed to increase the number of its inter-institutional agreements in order to achieve increased recognition, further cultural exchange, easier mobility, and a stronger exchange of professional know-how. Throughout the project, SUBU has adhered to the European Union's modernization and internationalization guidelines, forging bilateral university partnerships based on regional and thematic priorities. The quality of education, research, and collaboration at SUBU has significantly improved thanks to the implementation of the project. Our overall aim throughout the project was to add value to our institution, our students, our staff, our region, our country, and to the humanity as a whole. We are aware that the path to a better tomorrow is paved by knowledge and information put into use by generations who possess a high level of awareness towards issues concerning themselves, others, and our world. To make the world a better place for all of humanity, it is necessary that knowledge is not limited with borders and cultural differences but rather a universal tool for a better tomorrow. Aware of these key-points, we utilized our budget to keep mobilities and the exchange of cultural and work know-how that come from them at maximum.
