Objectives

Sabancı University has long been actively involved in the Erasmus Programs as an important part of its internationalization strategy. The university develops partnerships worldwide for student and staff mobility, as well as for research purposes. Nearly 80% of our exchange agreements are within the scope of the Erasmus+ program. In line with our strategy, Sabancı University aims to send approximately 20% of its graduates abroad for exchange programs. The Erasmus KA131 Project has aimed to ensure the sustainability of internationalization efforts by connecting our students, faculty, and staff with different cultures and academic environments. Through this program, we aimed to enhance our students' competencies and skills, increase post-graduation employment rates, and improve learning experiences by experiencing different academic systems. Additionally, we aimed to enhance research collaboration and curriculum development processes through staff mobility and adapt administrative practices to best practices. Sabancı University has aimed to increase and promote the mobility of students with special needs through grant support. Furthermore, the Erasmus grant has been considered a sustainable financing mechanism for our students. The mobilities and program outcomes carried out within this framework have accelerated the digitalization process. The good practices learned after mobilities serve as a means to improve the practices of internal units.
