Objectives

The Gastronomy Internship Consortium (GSK) project, in collaboration with our partners and the coordinating institution AKÜ, aims to contribute to students' career management plans before and after graduation and to support them in developing skills for success post-graduation. The consortium offers opportunities for students and staff to gain vision in personal competencies such as self-confidence and strong communication skills, in addition to experience and academic contributions. GSK has adopted a transparent and fair approach throughout all processes. One of the project's goals is to find better and more reliable internship placements for students and to increase the diversity of internship institutions through collaboration with partner organizations. We aimed for Turkish students to engage in cultural interactions within EU countries, based on the Erasmus core philosophy of "mobility." Within the GSK 2022 project, 3 internships, 17 training activities, and 3 teaching mobilities were conducted across 9 countries, totaling 23 mobilities. The project aims to benefit university students in the Gastronomy Department and related academic staff from Erasmus activities.
