Objectives

The Veterinary Internship Consortium (VSK) project, in collaboration with our partners and the coordinating institution AKÜ, aims to contribute to students' career management plans before and after their graduation and to support them in developing skills for success after graduation. The consortium provides opportunities for students and staff to gain experience and academic contributions, as well as personal competencies such as self-confidence and strong communication skills. VSK has adopted a transparent and fair approach throughout all processes. One of the project's goals is to find better and more reliable internship placements for students and to increase the diversity of internship institutions through the cooperation of partner organizations. We aimed for Turkish students to engage in cultural interactions within EU countries, based on Erasmus' core philosophy of "mobility." Within the scope of the VSK 2022 project, a total of 16 internships, 9 training activities, and 10 teaching mobilities were carried out in 16 countries. In total, 35 mobilities were realized within the project. The project specifically aims to benefit university students in the Veterinary Department and academic staff from Erasmus activities.
