Ankara University has set “Internationalization” as one of its primary goals with its institutional development and great potential. Ankara University, which is constantly included in international ranking systems, aims to enhance its brand value by further improving its ranking every year. In this respect, the university is taking steps such as increasing the number of foreign students, increasing the number of students and staff benefiting from exchange programs, increasing the number of programs offered in English, raising awareness among all students and staff about international student and academic exchange, developing strategies to increase funding from international projects and foreign sources for research, developing institutional partnerships within Erasmus+ Program, and supporting doctoral students as a research university. In the realization of these steps, the contribution of the Erasmus+ Program to the increase in the number of incoming and outgoing students and staff, the development of international awareness, the development of institutional partnerships, the improvement of the quality of research and their transform ation into projects have been clearly stated.
