Objectives

IGU places a strong focus on broadening its array of national and international projects. Despite being a relatively young institution, IGU actively participates in numerous national projects (TUBITAK), and BAP projects, and serves as both a coordinator and partner in EU projects, showcasing substantial research-project expertise. Since 2011, IGU has adeptly managed the Erasmus+ Program with program countries, demonstrating its seasoned capabilities. By implementing the project, IGU aims to achieve several important goals. First, the university seeks to increase the presence of foreign academic staff and international students, enriching the academic environment with diverse perspectives. Additionally, the project focuses on fostering greater mobility among both students and staff, allowing for expanded opportunities for exchange and collaborative learning. Another key objective is to enhance resources for research and development projects, which will strengthen the quality and output of IGU's R&D efforts. The project also aims to facilitate international collaborations, building strong partnerships with other institutions and broadening the scope of academic cooperation. Furthermore, IGU is dedicated to engaging in partnerships with the real sector, bridging the gap between academia and industry to create practical opportunities for students and staff. By diversifying its project offerings, IGU seeks to expand the range of research and academic initiatives available. Beyond these specific objectives, the project aims to expose students and staff to diverse academic environments, fostering cross-cultural academic experiences. It also seeks to refine participants' skills through experiential learning, equipping them with practical knowledge and abilities that are useful in real-world contexts. Lastly, by bolstering global competitiveness and improving employability, the project aims to provide students and staff with valuable international experience and skills that will benefit their future careers. In summary, IGU is committed to fostering collaborations with European countries and extending the benefits of this project to all participants involve
