Within the framework of internationalisation strategy of Istanbul Technical University's (ITU), Erasmus+ projects have always a great importance due to its dynamic structure. As ITU International Relations Coordinatorship-Study and Traineeship Mobility Office, we are aware that several opportunities are offered by the EU for many reasons: it gives the possibility to travel abroad, to meet an enormous bunch of great people, it is a mind-opening, heart-filling experience, it enhances academic’s and life’s skills. It also helps to foster a sense of belonging to the European Community, it helps to create an environment of sharing and understanding of each other’s culture and background. Through the student and staff mobilities within Erasmus+ KA1 projects, ITU wanted to achieve all these opportunities and also become competitive/preferable institution for students and staff in international higher education area with its strong international collaborations.
