In this project, Kadir Has University organized outgoing student mobility for studies and outgoing staff mobility for teaching and training. Student and staff mobilities led to increased internationalization of the individuals involved and the institutions, the cities, and the regions. Impact of student mobility can be described as enriched students ‘professional and academic live; raising the level of gained academic knowledge, improvement in basic personal competences/characteristics like: open-mindedness, flexibility, cross-cultural adaptability and appreciation of diversity. It also helped increasing understanding of the need for the study of foreign languages and increase students' competitiveness on the local and international labour market; raising the motivation to gain new international experience and better education; learning about the developed countries perspective- its tradition, culture and history (overcoming stereotypes). As KHAS aims to set the aim of being a supportive and inclusive learning community devoted to academic excellence, creative learning and innovative research in its strategic plan, it is expected to benefit from and contribute to the Erasmus program in a great degree. Erasmus program is designed to support the exchanges and practical experiences which will be a great tool of our university with this respect. The program also pushed Kadir Has in quality development in education, which will be an important motivation for our commitment to quality assurance.
