The importance of youth employment is becoming more and more prominent on a national and global scale. At this point, the main problems related to youth employment are the large number of young people entering the labor market every year, insufficient employment opportunities, low quality of education and training, and lack of a proper connection with labor markets, especially in countries with poor economies and lack of economic stability. The ERASMUSTERN Consortium therefore aims to explore the different dimensions of the issue, the rationale for intervention and the possibilities for improving youth employment through cross-sectoral cooperation. Abdullah Gül University, which has a network of experts, young people and staff experienced in Erasmus+, has brought together Erciyes University, Nuh Naci Yazgan University, Sabancı University, Sivas Cumhuriyet University, Sivas University of Science and Technology and leading legal entities such as Kayseri Chamber of Commerce, Kayseri Chamber of Industry, University-Industry Research Cooperation Foundation (USAIV) as partners. This strategic partnership aims to contribute to both the employability of university students and the modernisation of higher education institutions, enhance inter-institutional cooperation and increase the capacity of partner institutions.
