Izmir Katip Celebi University and its consortium partners designed this project to provide the outgoing students and staff with practical experiences and theoretical knowledge about digitalization in the tourism industry. This project aimed to transfer innovative good practices into digitalization. Each consortium member of this project would like to learn how digitalization is used in the tourism industry. It is known that, after the COVID-19 pandemic, digitalization affected every part of life, including the gastronomy and tourism industry in general. The consortium members of this project are located in cities known to be popular tourism destinations such as; Izmir, Alanya and Mardin. The students who get training from successful companies who are good at using technology in their work will learn innovative techniques and transfer these new practices into their workplace in Turkey. As a result of sharing ideas, monitoring good practices, and expanding the horizons of the beneficiaries, both the beneficiaries and institutions will improve themselves. Our consortium project is planned to continue till 2027. We achieved our first-year target and now focus on the following year's mobilities.
