Objectives

Galatasaray University (GSU) has been successfully carrying out Erasmus+ student and staff mobility projects since 2003. Established as a result of an international agreement between the Turkish and French governments, reflecting the desire for international cultural and scientific cooperation, GSU has adopted the mission of creating an educational environment that supports international collaboration. The excellence that Galatasaray University seeks in all its teaching and research fields is maintained through the enhancement of individual mobility and internationalization in this competitive environment. Participation in the Erasmus+ Program and adherence to the principles of the Erasmus Charter significantly contribute to achieving these goals by fostering the development of new collaborations and facilitating new agreements, not only with Program countries but also with Partner countries. Therefore, this project aims to achieve lasting and widespread results. This objective is demonstrated through the recognition of learning outcomes, the multilingual education model, the implementation of sustainable structures in terms of opportunities, and the execution of cooperation projects. Additionally, the Erasmus+ student and staff mobility project aims to strengthen GSU’s internationalization strategy.
