Objectives

Since the 20th century, the world population has increased rapidly day by day, and in parallel with the rapidly increasing population, energy sources; A serious climate crisis has come to the fore due to the gases released into the atmosphere as a result of the increased use of fossil fuels and creating a greenhouse effect. While sustainable nutrition reduces the negative impact on nature, it also positively affects human health by increasing the quality of the diet. Unfortunately, people have a hard time reconciling these two issues. The most important thing we want to achieve by implementing our project is to instill this awareness in people, especially young people between the ages of 18-30. Other goals we want to achieve include understanding the multidimensionality of the climate change issue and the importance of nutrition and waste food among young people. Another issue we want to achieve is that young people change their eating habits by increasing their awareness of the effects of their diet on the climate. In addition, our focus is on opening the door for young people to think about this issue and enabling them to develop projects on sustainable nutrition and waste management with their own original ideas. In line with the key competencies gained by young people, it is among the goals of the project to transform these competencies into good practices after the project. To list the objectives to be achieved in the project: • Young people develop climate and environmentally friendly nutrition projects, • Participating young people develop projects on sustainable nutrition and waste management with their own original ideas, • Young people understand the multidimensionality of the climate change issue and the importance of nutrition and waste food, • Ensuring the applicability and project development of good examples and methods applied in Europe in our country, • Dissemination of the advantages of the Erasmus plus program in climate and nutrition issues, • In line with the key competencies gained by young people, they transform these competencies into good practices after the project. • Having the opportunity to work in the field, countable.
