Objectives

Youth unemployment has become one of the most important problems for young people, both in our country and across Europe. While young people's concerns about the future have increased with the pandemic, the world economy has entered a difficult period due to closures and restrictions. This difficult period is gradually decreasing the chances of finding a job for young people under the age of 25. According to Eurostat data as of January 10, 2022, Italy is at the top of the list with 28% in youth unemployment under the age of 25, while Belgium is in the middle with 18.4%, close to the European average of 15.4% (https://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/documents/2995521/14084165/3-10012022-AP-EN.pdf/53ac483e-71d9-3093-5bd8- 12f1ea89683a). According to TÜİK statistics in January 2021, the unemployment rate under the age of 25 in our country was 24.7%. The aim and need of this project is to inspire more young people, introduce Erasmus+ and ESC programs and opportunities from their experiences, transfer the skills acquired through these programs and ways to participate in employment, and provide solutions to youth unemployment under the age of 25. Our organization's aim and need is to carry out project-based studies so that the voices of young people can be heard. The needs of young people between the ages of 18-25 in our target group are primarily to identify problems as young people and to be involved in the solution process. To support peace and solidarity in the community they live in with project-based problem-solving studies. The aims of our project are as follows: -To ensure that the voices, demands and solution proposals of young people are heard, -To offer solution proposals to the problem of youth unemployment with the support of young people, youth workers and policy makers, -To introduce Erasmus+ and ESC opportunities with examples of people who have benefited from these opportunities and joined the workforce with the skills and competencies they have gained, -To encourage young people to carry out project-based work in solving their problems, -To support the organizational capacities of participating organizations and the increase in the individual, social and professional capacities of participants between the ages of 18-25.
