Our objective was to enhance the quality of education and training by increasing student and staff mobility between Sakarya University and its partner institutions, to establish lasting inter-institutional cooperation, and to strengthen participants’ international experience, language proficiency, intercultural communication, and professional skills. The project also aimed to ensure equal access to mobility opportunities for participants with fewer opportunities, to guarantee full and transparent academic recognition in all mobility activities, and to standardize support mechanisms such as guidance, counselling, mentoring, and administrative assistance. In addition, it sought to expand the use of digital processes and online content sharing, to promote environmentally friendly and sustainable practices, and to reinforce participants’ engagement with local communities, thereby enhancing institutional capacity. These objectives were defined in line with our university’s internationalization strategy, with the aim of building long-term partnerships, deepening mutual trust, and transforming the impact of mobility into lasting outcomes at both the individual and institutional level.
