The main objective of implementing this project was to strengthen and institutionalize the academic and organizational cooperation between Recep Tayyip Erdogan University and Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU). Primarily, it was aimed to initiate comparative law studies between the two institutions through academic staff mobility, and to provide new perspectives on European, American, and Caucasian legal systems. In addition, developing different perspectives in fields such as human rights, international law, and European Union law, diversifying teaching methods, curriculum development, quality assurance, and increasing opportunities for joint research were also among the priorities. Furthermore, increasing cultural interaction between the two universities, contributing to the professional development of staff, accelerating internationalization processes, and strengthening regional cooperation were important objectives of the project. In particular, the visa exemption between Türkiye and Georgia and the geographical proximity contributed to achieving these goals more easily and rapidly.
