Our KA171 mobility project with Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (Georgia) was designed to support the personal and academic development of higher education students through international mobility. Its central purpose was to provide participants with valuable skills and competencies that would enhance their employability and career opportunities in an increasingly globalised world. The project also aimed to foster intercultural awareness and understanding, encouraging open-mindedness and tolerance. By engaging with diverse cultures, languages, and educational systems, participants cultivated a global perspective and strengthened values such as respect for diversity, inclusion, and active citizenship. Language learning, digital transformation, and sustainability were also key priorities. The project enabled students to practice languages in authentic environments, develop digital skills aligned with the Erasmus+ 2021–2027 agenda, and explore environmentally friendly travel practices. Ultimately, this project contributed to the internationalisation strategies of both institutions, helping to create a higher education environment that is innovative, inclusive, and resilient.
