Through this project, Bartın University aimed to implement learning and teaching mobilities for students and staff in line with its internationalisation strategy, to support participants’ individual and professional development, and to create a multicultural academic environment. The project sought to enhance language skills and intercultural awareness, enabling participants to embrace European and global values. Another key objective was to build sustainable cooperation with higher education institutions in the Western Balkans, Neighbourhood East and Sub-Saharan Africa. International credit mobilities strengthened the academic quality of both Bartın University and its partners, fostering mutual knowledge and experience sharing. As a result, Bartın University has fulfilled the commitments set out in its Erasmus Policy Statement, taking a significant step towards becoming a globally recognised higher education institution producing scientific knowledge.
