The primary objective of implementing this Erasmus+ KA171 project was to advance the internationalization strategy of Afyon Kocatepe University (AKU) through enhanced student and staff mobility, institutional development, and capacity building. By expanding opportunities for outgoing and incoming participants, we aimed to achieve at least a 5% increase in student mobility and to sustain staff mobility levels above the three-year average, thereby fostering a culture of academic and professional exchange. Another key goal was to strengthen institutional cooperation. Through new inter-institutional agreements and visits, the project sought to build sustainable partnerships, encourage joint initiatives, and promote knowledge sharing. Efficient financial management ensured that more than 90% of the allocated budget was utilized, reflecting accountability and sustainability. A further objective was to increase visibility and awareness of Erasmus+ activities. More than 15 promotional events and training activities were organized, while staff engaged in national and international meetings to enhance professional competencies and represent AKU globally. Overall, the project aimed to combine quantitative growth with qualitative impact.
