The main objective of this project was to strengthen the academic and cultural cooperation between Fırat University and Abay Kazakh National Pedagogical University. Although only one staff member participated in the mobility to Kazakhstan to deliver lectures, this activity contributed to initiating mutual dialogue between the two institutions and served as a concrete step towards academic collaboration. The project aimed to build a cultural bridge between Türkiye and Kazakhstan, to create a basis for joint scientific studies, and to establish a sustainable cooperation environment that will increase student and staff mobility in the future. Furthermore, developing joint projects in areas considered as professions of the future, such as smart home technologies, 3D printing, and artificial intelligence, as well as contributing to the internationalization processes of the universities, were among the main expectations of the project. In this context, even the limited mobility realized has become an important starting point for broader collaborations in the coming periods.
