As part of our E-Gastronomy Erasmus+ Consortium project, we prepared a proposal for an Erasmus+ KA171 project to collaborate with non-European countries. This initiative allowed us to visit South Korea, home to major technology companies, and the Philippines, a nation with significant potential in the tourism sector. Through the Staff Teaching Mobility and Staff Training Mobility programs organized towards South Korea and the Philippines, we gained invaluable experience. Until now, our collaborations had been limited to European countries, making this project a significant step for our university as it opened our doors to a new continent for the very first time. Thanks to this project, South Korea and the Philippines had the opportunity to learn about Erasmus+ for the first time. In our presentations for Trinity University of Asia's students and staff, we provided fundamental information about the European Union and the Erasmus+ opportunities. In our presentation, we explained our e-Gastronomy project as well as Turkish culture and cuisine, and we even offered some refreshments from Turkish cuisine that we had brought from Turkiye.
