Through this project, Koç University aimed to advance its Internationalization Strategy by promoting excellence in global education, strengthening institutional cooperation, and raising its international profile. For students, the project sought to provide access to diverse cultures and rigorous education abroad while also attracting and supporting international students at KU, thereby fostering internationalization at home and in the classroom. For staff, the project aimed to create opportunities for teaching and training abroad, enhancing staff internationalization and building sustainable academic connections that could lead to joint research activities. Overall, the project’s goal was not only to balance incoming and outgoing mobilities but also to deepen KU’s engagement with leading global institutions, enhance the university’s international research capacity, and contribute to the development of globally competent graduates.
