Our objective is to raise environmental awareness and incorporate sustainable materials into vocational education and training (VET). We seek to identify and source sustainable materials from companies and workplaces to use in educational settings. By doing so, we aim to reduce financial burdens and promote sustainability. Our goal is to establish a connection between schools and industry, creating practical methods that can be implemented in VET. We also strive to share these methods with other VET trainers to broaden their impact. We aim to learn new strategies from our partners, review their previous achievements, and create awareness about sustainability among students to pass on this knowledge to future generations and their careers. We also want to demonstrate the feasibility and adaptability of renewable and sustainable materials.
We recognized the need for a comprehensive project to enhance our approach. Our goal is to source educational materials from waste materials rather than from new sources. We aim to create a guideline that can be used by our institution and other VET schools to implement this idea and raise awareness among young generations. Our students are eager to collaborate on an international scale, and we want to increase our visibility to attract support from companies and factories. By doing this, we hope to help students gain confidence, broaden their perspectives, and engage more fully in international opportunities.
