By implementing the NO-NEET project, we aimed to achieve several key objectives that were critical for addressing the challenges faced by NEETs (young people not in education, employment, or training) and enhancing the capacities of the participating organizations. The primary goal was to significantly raise the capacities of the participating organizations, youth workers, and leaders in effectively working with NEETs and understanding the dynamics of KA2 projects. This was achieved through the development and dissemination of a comprehensive toolkit, the creation of a dedicated webpage, and the delivery of online training sessions specifically designed to address the needs of NEETs. Additionally, the project focused on ensuring that these goals were met through a strong emphasis on partnership and quality assurance, ensuring that the outcomes were sustainable and of high quality. By the end of the project, we successfully dissolved the barriers faced by NEETs, providing them with new opportunities for self and professional development, thereby contributing to their reintegration into society and the labor market.
The NO-NEET project aimed to increase the capacity of 3 youth organisations representing Turkey, Bulgaria and Italy to work with young people not in education, employment and vocational training (NEETs) and empower them through cooperation with different sectors such as labour, education and social entrepreneurship. The project improved the skills of participating organisations and youth workers to effectively address the needs and interests of NEETs in their communities. It aimed to provide NEETs with soft skills to increase their employability and to prepare EuroPass CV for them. Within the scope of the project, the capacities of 3 youth organisations to work with NEETs were improved and these organisations were able to offer new learning opportunities to NEETs. 25 youth workers and leaders increased their knowledge and understanding of NEETs and developed necessary skills. 90 NEETs gained the necessary skills to succeed in the labour market, learned about non-formal education and Erasmus+ Programme, prepared EuroPass CV. 150 sector representatives were informed about the opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ Programme and awareness was raised on addressing the issues of NEETs together with the youth sector.
