It has been aimed to enhance the knowledge, professional, personal, methodological, social, and digital competences of educators working in public and non-public organizations through modular mixed-mode learning programmes. A Supervision Programme has been developed to improve the quality of counseling, guidance, and educational services provided to refugees, migrants, and individuals with a migration background within public and non-public institutions. Educational and motivational videos have been prepared to support the social inclusion, encouragement, and rehabilitation of refugees, migrants, and individuals with migration backgrounds. Structural activities have been carried out to support lifelong learning processes of educators in public and non-public organizations. The quality, intensity, and scope of partnership networks have been strengthened to foster national and transnational collaboration among universities and other stakeholders in supporting the integration process of migrants.
Türkiye and European Union countries are constantly faced with various forms of migration at different levels and with increasing frequency. In this context, not only public institutions but also non-public actors, such as civil society organizations that support refugees, play important roles in the integration process of migrants and refugees. The services offered by these organizations—such as counseling, education, guidance, and coaching—are crucial for the quality of integration. However, despite the presence of numerous institutions working with refugees, the training of personnel in this field and the materials and programs provided remain insufficient. To improve the quality of the services offered by staff, their professional competencies must be continuously strengthened through training and effective supervision. Given that migration is a global phenomenon, promoting experience sharing and mutual learning among partner countries; analyzing key influencing factors and current migration megatrends; and ultimately developing high-quality educational materials for educators will enhance knowledge and skill levels and enable the provision of higher quality services.
