The DigiVision project was developed to address the growing need for digital transformation in the broadcasting sector, particularly in immersive media technologies such as augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR) and mixed reality (MR). Traditional broadcasting methods were no longer sufficient to engage younger audiences, and there was a clear need to equip young media professionals with advanced digital skills. The project aimed to improve the digital skills of young broadcasters to ensure that they could effectively use emerging technologies. It also aimed at bridging the gap between traditional and digital broadcasting, fostering innovation and adaptability within public media institutions. Another key motivation was to strengthen international cooperation between public service broadcasters, enabling the exchange of knowledge and best practices. The project also aimed to support media professionals in adapting to new digital tools, thus ensuring a more inclusive and modern broadcasting environment in the partner countries.
