Objectives

The project is aimed at implementing social innovations through social and educational inclusion for adult learners who need to increase their knowledge and skills for successful realization on the labor market, overcoming social exclusion, activation and motivation for lifelong learning. Objective 1 of the project aims to provide support for adult learners to develop new digital knowledge and skills, motivate them and orient them to the labour market. Mobility is related to the basic needs of older groups of people - people without skills, older people seeking employment or realisation as entrepreneurs, in order to improve their opportunities to adapt to the requirements of the labour market. Objective 2 of the project addresses the need to increase the capacity of the Association for Social Support and Information, by sharing good practices and promoting the use of new and innovative pedagogical methods and technologies and support for the professional development of trainers and consequently achieving an increase in the quality of training for adults provided by them.

Background

The main objective of the project is related to the improvement of the quality of the provided trainings through the acquisition of key skills by the trainers and the team of the Vocational Training Centre of the Association "Social Support and Information" and the improvement of the opportunities for the trainees through the provision of new knowledge and skills as well as the mobility of adult learners. The main focus of the Association for Social Support and Information is to increase the mobility of learners and teaching staff, transfer innovative teaching methods and techniques, and create sustainable international partnerships for sharing experiences in education. The Association's activities include the delivery of formal and informal training for all community groups, including adult learners, based on partnership initiatives, project activities or for other NGOs. In this regard, there is a high attrition of trainings and learners' interest in the topics of digital skills and soft skills related to learning new skills, motivation and orientation in the labour market, as well as entrepreneurial skills.
