After having brought together our faculty, two needs have been prioritized in terms of professional performance: secure online communication, and the establishment of innovations to solve our challenges. Based on them, three objectives have been designed, the first of them is of a general nature and will be partially fulfilled with the development of the project, but it goes further, with the integration of our results in our Development Plan. It corresponds to enhancing the digital maturity in terms of communication of Sredno uchilishte Hristo Botev for the development of innovation processes and outputs. The two specific objectives of the project are: To promote the use of different social media to encourage participation; find resources and information; and develop spaces for creativity, collaboration or communication; and to respond to future challenges in terms of adaptability to changing environments and the ability to innovate to promote holistic development environments.
The foundations of the Secondary School Hristo Botev were laid down in the first half of the 19th century, making it the oldest school in the town of Vratsa with a nearly two-hundred-year tradition in the training of generations of Vratsa. The school offers a full-time training course for over 700 students from the first to the twelfth grade with intensive English language and advanced foreign language teaching in German, Russian, Italian and Spanish. There are more than 70 teachers all of them with Masters in their field. A fundamental requirement to guarantee the quality of our actions is that our teachers must be constantly updated on the new modalities, topics and teachings that are going to be implemented. We understand the continuous training of teachers as a process of constant reflection on their own educational practice with the aim of generating superior knowledge that helps them improve and innovate in their daily activities. It must be individualized and contextualized.
