The two main objectives of our project were: - Upgrading the digital skills of the teachers and developing new digital competences for fruitful work in the virtual environment. - To build the skills of our teachers to prevent disinformation and promote critical thinking to students.
Our annual internal research and SWOT analysis has shown that the two biggest challenges for the high school in 2022 were the difficulties for our teachers to cope with the new requirements and trends in education related to the digitalization of our learning process, as well as the increasingly insecure information environment and high vulnerability of our graduates to be directly affected by disinformation. Through its participation in this project, TG-Burgas addressed both challenges. The participation of 12 teachers in the courses "Tackling disinformation in the school environment" and "Digital Competences and ICT for Teachers" contributed to building a more optimized, engaging, interesting and safe learning environment.
