The project aimed to contribute to the acquisition of specific knowledge, skills and competences related to ICT, which would contribute to raising the level of the educational process in our High School. The activities that we planned are not isolated, but are part of the medium-term or long-term development plan of the school and are subordinate to the school strategy: 1. modernization - the introduction of new methods of teaching and learning, application of new technologies in education, familiarization with good practices; cooperation with educational, social or employer organizations, leading to a greater cumulative effect 2. internationalization - opening to the world; creating a network of connections to promote individual development 3. development in harmony with European values - with the aim of creating European citizens open to mobility, continuing education, meeting other cultures, learning foreign languages. The goals of the project were toform specific knowledge, skills and competences related to information and communication technologies - social media, blogs and educational platforms through training in an intercultural environment; to introduce a learning process through Flipped Classrom/Blended learning.
The time of information technology in which we live forces the educational system to offer a truly new model of organizing learning - a model that uses information technology and social networks and media in the classroom and that corresponds to the needs of the modern student. This was the main motive for applying for this project, because an important aspect of the implementation of digital learning platforms is that they can also be used to turn the traditional classroom upside down. The practice of combining face-to-face learning and teaching with online activities and other interactive teaching methods is known as blended/hybrid learning. In recent years, blended learning has become more and more important and is widely used not only in universities, but also in schools. It is necessary due to the coming social and economic changes in society. In order to maintain a high authority and a high level of education, Trade High School relies on the application of ICT in the education of its students.
