Using the "Lifelong Learning" principle, we wanted to achieve a sustainable change in the school, directly implemented at 3 levels - the school leadership, teachers, and students, and indirectly affecting on the entire school community, incl. parents, partners, authorities: 1. Development of management competencies of 1 director and improvement of pedagogical competencies of 1 school councelor and 8 teachers during 5 transnational trainings. 2. The most important goal was to achieve a sustainable change in the cognitive abilities of the students and unfold their creative potential by improving the cognitive skills needed for learning and memorising. We made special emphasis and focused efforts on promoting creative ways of thinking and environmentally responsible attitude of students; facilitating their intercultural understanding; the upgrading of computer and digital literacy; the use of critical and systematic thinking in the field of modern media; skills in recognizing values; the combination of traditional applied arts with modern digital technologies. 3. The modified attitudes and skills aimed to achieve a lasting positive change in the academic results of the students from the junior high school and high school stage.
