Background

The purpose behind this project was our belief that teaching today does not fully respond to students' needs and expectations and to the modern world either. With this project we wanted to respond to the modern world needs: Creative teaching and learning, building adequate skills in our students for their successful adaptation and realization, raises students’ awareness of being active European citizens. We have the responsibility to educate to think about the current global goals and EU. Our challenge was to respond to the society needs , so we decided to expose students to information and activities related to EU and UN SDGs to develop students' engagement to the world and build the attitude of future responsible citizens. We wanted to equip teachers with different techniques of drama as a creative method of teaching of STEAM. Through an interdisciplinary approach and problem-based learning, we wanted to integrate the SDGs into the school curriculum. Teachers from all partner schools were benefit from the exchange of good practices. Physical mobilities enabled the achievement of the goals of this activities and allowed teachers and students to work in international teams, to learn and practice in workshops.
