Growing and strengthening personal competences is the main focus of workplacements abroad. At our school controversial discussions about intercultural experiences and inclusion cross paths with a student body with a rural background with only few points of contact. Thus we try to establish our school as a place of intercultural meeting in order to avoid conflicts. This is also true for our planned staff activities. Here the quality of teaching should also be improved by staff training abroad with the help of best practice experiences. It is our goal within this project to enhance the European ideal at our school by involving two groups of our staff in our internationalization. We want to continue established concepts and include new members of our staff in this field of work. We want to use this project to bridge for a wider setup accreditation, the application following closely.
Mobility is one of our guiding principles and a key element of the internationalisation strategy of the Max-Eyth-Schule. This guiding principle includes two fixed parts for our school's profil: Encounters and exchanges at home and abroad need to be preserved, executed and evaluated, this includes the offer of workplacements abroad for a large scope of students. The short-term-project aims at continuing or work in this area so far and serves as a basis until we reached our Erasmus accreditation. It is our aim to continue our succesful workplacement abroad opportunites and offer internation experience for colleagues from the industrial-technical field., so that they can support our school community better to live and work in Europe in the spirit of Erasmus plus. This short-term-project give us the possibility to continue and enhance existing partnerships as well as to find new ones.
