Background

The Christian Youth Village Foundation of Germany (CJD) is an educational and social organization founded in 1947, based on Christian values. CJD Nord, one of 13 regional branches, offers comprehensive educational and childcare services in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Hamburg, and Schleswig-Holstein. These include daycare centers, kindergartens, and primary schools. A key priority for us is to ensure a smooth transition from kindergarten to primary school and to prepare each child as best as possible for this important step. To achieve this, CJD Nord plans to develop specialized training programs for early childhood education professionals. The TraiNeTea project aims to support educators in learning about, evaluating, and integrating innovative educational approaches and best practices into their daily work to optimize the transition process for children.
