In the long-run, the project aimed at combating poverty and at the same time at reducing food waste in private households. According adult education offers are indispensable for achieving this – they are the key to cultural and social participation.
The sustainable use of natural resources and the fight against climate change are important concerns of the project partners from Germany, Greece, Italy, North Macedonia, Serbia and Hungary. In addition, they are confronted every day with the challenges of participation of people with fewer opportunities. It is in line with their self-image to find needs-based, practical and therefore sustainable solutions, for which “Food Connections” should create the appropriate conditions.
