Initially, we aimed to gather information and exchange ideas across Europe through various courses, all centered around the theme of sustainability or the concept of a "green school." After team discussions, the course participants acted as multipliers within their respective departments, initiating the integration of the sustainability theme into different subjects. Furthermore, we began preparing annual theme days. During these events, age-appropriate projects will be implemented at each grade level, ensuring that every student has completed all six modules by the end of grade 10.
The topics of climate protection, resource conservation, and sustainability remain at the top of our institution's agenda. We have embarked on the journey to become a greener school. Our motto is: think globally and act locally. In doing so, we align ourselves with the goals of the city of Soest, which has committed to achieving climate neutrality by 2030.
