By implementing the project, our main goal was to address the pressing issue of mental health among young people and equip youth workers with the necessary skills and knowledge to support them effectively. The objectives of our project were as follows: Increase empathy: We aimed to enhance the level of empathy among youth workers, enabling them to better understand the struggles and challenges faced by young individuals dealing with mental health issues. Raise awareness: We sought to increase awareness about mental health problems, their prevalence, and the importance of providing appropriate support and guidance. By doing so, we aimed to reduce stigma and encourage open discussions on mental health. Exchange of experience: We aimed to facilitate the exchange of experiences and best practices among participants, who work with youth in different contexts and countries. This exchange would enable them to learn from each other's approaches and develop a comprehensive understanding of effective strategies for supporting young people's mental well-being. Knowledge and skills: Our objective was to provide participants with practical knowledge and skills that they could apply at the local level. This included tools and techniques for working with traumatized youth or those experiencing mental health challenges, empowering them to provide effective assistance and guidance. We wanted to contribute to the personal development, resilience, and overall mental well-being of young individuals by empowering youth workers with the necessary tools and understanding to address mental health issues in their respective communities.
