The main objective of implementing this project was to improve the quality of mathematics education by enhancing students' problem-solving skills and creativity through the use of digital technologies, innovative learning methods, and interactive tools. Specifically, the project aimed to: 1) Promote the popularization of mathematics and make it more engaging for students. 2) Integrate mathematics with other branches of science, encouraging interdisciplinary learning. 3) Develop students' and teachers' digital skills by utilizing and creating digital educational materials. 4) Foster collaboration and communication in both digital and real environments, strengthening teamwork and intercultural exchange. 5) Create a comprehensive online platform containing a mathematics dictionary and other educational resources to support learning.
We applied for this project to improve the quality of mathematics education by making it more engaging, accessible, and better integrated with digital technologies. Many students struggle with understanding mathematical concepts and acquiring knowledge, which created a need to develop their problem-solving skills, creativity, and digital competencies through interactive learning methods. Additionally, the aim was to connect mathematics with everyday life and other subjects, making it more practical and meaningful for students. Through this project, we sought to encourage both teachers and students to use digital tools and create digital content that supports learning and benefits all participants. Furthermore, collaboration between teachers and students from different countries promotes intercultural communication, enhances language skills, and allows for the exchange of best practices. This project aimed to promote a STEAM approach, support teachers in implementing modern technology-based teaching methods, and collaboratively create digital content that can be used by all interested parties. It was also important to promote student communication and collaboration with peers from partner schools.
