Objectives

The main objectives of the project were: - To increase the capacity of educators - To support people with intellectual disabilities in the labour market - To introduce an innovative methodology for their sustainable integration - Expand the tools available - Promote digital solutions for inclusion - Raise awareness of disability challenges - Strengthen partner organisations for wider impact.

Background

The project has been created to address the impact of the ongoing technological revolution on the world of work, exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. This revolution includes the creation of new jobs, changes in traditional job roles, and the growth of disruptive work forms. The project reduces negative impact of this digital transformation on people with disabilities by identifying actions for a more inclusive future of work. While digital tools offer opportunities for employment and support in daily tasks, they also pose significant barriers for individuals with disabilities. Therefore, the project seeks to facilitate their inclusion in the labor market and addressed digital challenges. The needs that we have addressed with this project were: 1. Ensuring accessibility for people with disabilities 2. Promoting digital skills among people with disabilities 3. Promoting digital employment among people with disabilities
