The specific objectives of the project have been: - Provide trainers from participating organizations (both partners and interested organizations) with a new training and practical itinerary for individual action. - Provide students with new knowledge and skills to reduce the consumption of certain materials such as plastic and produce based on recycled materials. - Raise awareness among the project's target audience about the main environmental problems and the European policies that are being carried out for their eradication. - Involve project participants in local and European initiatives focused on the fight against climate change and the development of sustainable alternative mechanisms.
The main basis of the project has been to instruct adult educators in the importance of reducing waste at an individual level, the tools we have for this, and also, producing in a sustainable way both at a personal level and at the level of society. Specifically, the general objectives of the project have been: - Contribute to the implementation of an alternative economic system such as the Circular Economy. - Contribute to the achievement of SDG 12: Responsible production and consumption. - Achieve a society that is more aware of caring for the planet and climate change.
