Idea of the project was to give a change to young people of Baltic Sea countries to give their ideas for protection of Baltic Sea Region BSR. Aim was to develop new ideas and projects for the BSR. Discuss together the current issues and future ones concerning the BSR, invite decisionmakers and experts to get an in-depth knowledge about the region. Objectives were 1. Building mutual understanding and a sense of community among the region’s young people 2. Getting knowledge and being aware of actors and strategies in the region such as EU Strategy for Baltic Sea Region and its Policy Areas. 3.Giving young participants the opportunity to come up with new environment protection ideas for Baltic Sea Region and present them to decision-makers and EUSBSR actors at the EUSBSR Annual Forum 2022 in Lappeenranta. 4. Increasing knowledge of EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region among other young people locally by having events at LUT- university and at Youth Department event. 5. Dissemination of results and conclusions also to other young in locally and wider by social media. Aim is to get awareness of the situation of Baltic Sea for the young and increase to use of green skills.
